Domain I suppose you want the background of the site, right? Well, here I go.

I started the site on June 28th, 2007, because I needed something to distract me from the fact that my heart was prettymuch ripped out of me. (Anusface.) I mean, I'd always loved the whole graphical design thing, I'd been attempting it since I was eight, and (thanks to Neopets, lmfao) CSS wasn't foreign to me, so it seemed like a good avenue to explore. I mean, I'd already been making all my own layouts anyways, why not devote more time to it? So, I started the site. At first, it sucked. I had a bunch of layouts, but they weren't very good, and I couldn't figure out how the other sites did all those funky things... That, and I was just using Paint.NET, and it's not the world's best graphics editing program... My first sign was seriously just a sepia/black and white picture of a girl with the words "Chocolate Milk" on the bottom in white letters. It wasn't very good. In the beginning, I mostly devoted my time to Harry Potter, and for a while everyone thought I was a Harry Potter site with a really random name. This carried on for about a month, then I found my true avenue, DIVs. Paint.NET did allow me to make some (in my opinion, at the time) pretty killer DIVs, and I could code them easily. That being said, I started working with more talented sites, coding and making their DIVs. (And, to this day, they're probably my specialty.) Then, miraculously (I can't spell, ha ha), I started getting tons of people using my things. I started getting better at creating signs and such with Paint.NET too, so I attracted more people to the site. Actually, so many people started using my things, that my bandwidth on my image host went through the roof and they deleted my account ! Not to mention, my server for my site gave up on me... So, when that happened, I kind of took a hiatus from the site, and just kind of left it. (late September).. All content less and dead. After about a month of that (around Halloween), I... acquired Photoshop CS3, and I took off. At first I wasn't so good with it, but after a while, I started figuring out how to get things to look right, and I made new layouts and re-opened the site. Everything went real steady for quite a while (From Halloween to mid-February), and then I went on hiatus again. This time, it wasn't my choosing, but the computer with Photoshop died and we moved, so I wasn't really able to get to the site for a while. Now that the move is over, and having like, no friends at first, I've been devoting almost all my time to the site since April, and I've progressed a long way in a short amount of time. A LONGGG way. And I love it.

So, in short, a distraction from a heartache turned into a full-time passion. On it's way there it's showed me what I want to do with my future (web designer, hoes.), and taught me the skills I need to accomplish that. It's survived a host crash and a server dyingness(?) and lived through an entire year! YAY CHOCOLATE MILK!

Right now I'm hosted by 1and1 and I'm loving it! =]

Credits Okay, this layout took me FOREVER to get right. I've wanted to make one like this for months, but I've failed miserably at every attempt. Buttt... I FINALLY GOT ONE RIGHT! Here's a rundown of where I got my stuff: the colors are from Elleaye Layouts; the brushes used come from Outspoken, Dirt2, Saruna, and Ego-Box; the patterns are from The Fate of 1 and Obsidian Dawn; the picture is from NJO; the fonts are Times New Roman (which came with my computer) and Carnivale Freakshow, from DaFont. This layout was inspired by Rewindd and Believe Lyts.
